    Posición doctrinal  

• Con temor reverencial, creemos en el Único Dios Verdadero, revelado en tres personas divinas: Padre, Hijo y Espíritu Santo.

• Creemos que Dios inspira las Escrituras y que “toda la Escritura es inspirada por Dios, y útil para enseñar, para redargüir, para corregir, para instruir en justicia, a fin de que el siervo de Dios esté enteramente preparado para toda buena obra” (2 Timoteo 3:16-17 NVI).

• Creemos que el hombre cayó en pecado, causando la muerte física y espiritual en el mundo.

• Creemos que nuestro Señor Jesucristo es la única deidad de todos los tiempos.

• Creemos que el nacimiento de nuestro Señor Jesucristo fue virginal.

• Creemos en la vida sin pecado del Señor Jesucristo, en Su derramamiento de sangre para la expiación de los pecados, Su muerte, resurrección, ascensión a la diestra del Padre y Su inminente regreso  a buscar Su Iglesia.

• Creemos que la salvación se convierte en una realidad cuando una persona reconoce su naturaleza pecaminosa, pide perdón, se arrepiente, cree que Jesucristo es su único Señor y Salvador, se justifica, recibe el Espíritu Santo y nace de nuevo.

• Anticipamos ansiosamente y creemos gozosamente en el rapto, que ocurrira cuando aquellos que murieron en Cristo antes de Su segunda venida resuciten y, junto con los creyentes vivos de Cristo, se eleven en las nubes para encontrarse con Él en el aire y desde alli dirigirse hacia la eternidad.

• Tal como lo han adoptado las iglesias de las Asambleas de Dios, creemos en las siguientes doctrinas cardinales, que son esenciales para la misión central de la Iglesia de predicar el Evangelio en todo el mundo para dar testimonio a todas las naciones: Salvación, Bautismo en el Espíritu Santo, Sanidad Divina ministrada a través del poder del Espíritu Santo, Milagros, Maravillas y la Segunda Venida de Jesucristo.

    Doctrinal Position

• We hold in awe and reverence the belief in the One True God, revealed in three divine persons — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. 

• We believe God inspires the Scriptures and that “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work” (2 Timothy 3:16-17 NIV).

• We believe that man fell into sin, causing physical and spiritual death in the world. 

• We believe our Lord Jesus Christ is the only deity ever. 

• We believe our Lord Jesus Christ’s birth was virginal.

• We believe in Lord Jesus Christ’s sinless life, in His shedding of blood for the atonement of sin, His death, resurrection, ascension to the Father’s right hand, and imminent return for His Church. 

• We believe that Salvation becomes a reality when a person acknowledges their sinful nature, asks for forgiveness, repents, believes that Jesus Christ is their only Lord and Savior, becomes justified, receives the Holy Spirit, and is born again. 

• We eagerly anticipate and joyfully believe in the rapture, when those who died in Christ before His second coming will resurrect and, together with living Christ believers, will rise in the clouds to meet Him in the air towards eternity. 

• As embraced by all Assemblies of God churches, we believe in the following cardinal doctrines, which are essential to the Church’s core mission of preaching the Gospel in all the world for a witness unto all nations: Salvation, Baptism in the Holy Spirit, Divine Healing ministered via the power of the Holy Ghost, Miracles, Wonders, and the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.

Our Method

To develop each student’s potential so that God’s purpose in his/her life may be realized, through the investigative, hermeneutical, and systematic study of the Bible and related fields.

The curriculum of our three-year program includes introductory, intermediate, and advanced courses in the Bible, as well as behavioral sciences, in ways that shape the practice of Christian Counseling and Pastoral Care.

Study material is created based on The Bible and the Great Commission College’s and the Great Commission Theological Institute’s research and other studies, and publications from reputable and reliable sources, which The Institute makes available for confirmation and further study.

Nuestro Método

El plan de estudio de nuestro programa de tres años incluye cursos introductorios, intermedios y avanzados en Las Escrituras, así como también en ciencias de comportamiento, de manera que dan forma a la práctica de Consejería Cristiana y el Cuidado Pastoral. 

El material de estudio es creado basado en La Biblia e investigaciones del Colegio La Gran Comisión y del Instituto Teológico La Gran Comisión, así como también en otras investigaciones, estudios y libros de fuentes acreditadas y confiables, que hacemos accesibles para confirmación y estudio expandido.

Our Class Schedule

The Great Commission College offers four (4) ten-week sessions of three (3) courses per year. A total of thirty-six (36) courses in the three-year program; thirty (30) are required, and six (6) electives. It offers online instruction in English and Spanish.

The Great Commission College (TGCC) is an undergraduate Christ-centered 501(c) (3) non-profit private higher learning institution. Our unique governance structure is under the purview of a duly constituted Board of Trustees. This board is a diverse group, comprising both secular and non-secular professionals, including educators, Christian leaders, students, higher education administrators, and educational leaders. This diversity ensures a broad range of perspectives and expertise in our decision-making processes.

TGCC offers non-college-bearing credit courses and programs of the highest quality. We are currently in the process of applying for the required degree licensure from the Office of the Secretary of Higher Education (OSHE) in the state of New Jersey to offer credit-bearing courses and academic degree programs, ensuring our students receive a high-quality and reputable education, in line with our commitment to excellence.

TGCC meets Title 18A of the New Jersey Statute, which allows seminaries to grant divinity or theology degrees independently. TGCC operates under New Jersey Statute Section 18A:68-2, granting exemptions and rights to Seminaries or Schools of Theology to confer ecclesiastical or religious degrees in the following categories: Associate of Theology, Bachelor of Theology, Bachelor of Divinity, Master of Theology, and Doctor of Theology.

La Universidad La Gran Comisión (GCC) es una institución privada de educación superior sin fines de lucro 501 (c)3 centrada en Cristo con la misión de capacitar y transformar vidas mientras edifica el Cuerpo de Cristo. El gobierno del CCG está bajo el ámbito de una Junta de Fideicomisarios debidamente constituida compuesta por profesionales seculares y no seculares, incluidos  educadores, líderes cristianos, estudiantes, administradores de educación superior y líderes en educacion.

GCC ofrece cursos y programas de crédito no universitarios de la más alta calidad. Actualmente se encuentra en el proceso de solicitud de licencia de grado requerida por El Secretariado de Educación Superior de New Jersey (OSHE) para ofrecer cursos y programas con créditos de grado académico en el estado de New Jersey, asegurando que nuestros estudiantes reciban una educación de alta calidad y acreditada.

GCC se ampara bajo la ley Título 18A de los Estatutos de New Jersey, que permite a los seminarios otorgar títulos de divinidades y teología de forma independiente. GCC opera particularmente bajo la Sección de Educación 18A: 68-2, otorgando exenciones estatales y derechos a Seminarios o Escuelas de Teología para conferir títulos eclesiásticos o religiosos en las siguientes categorías: Asociado en Teología, Licenciatura en Teología, Licenciatura en Divinidad, Maestría en Teología y Doctorado en Teología.
